Meet Dale Barzey, a Registered Nurse and Midwife of greater than forty-five years. She is married to her teenage love and together they have three children and three grandchildren. Dale has worked in the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, and the USA all of which have provided her with many and varied experiences.

“The goal of the channel is to provide a platform that showcases nurses, provides opportunities for sharing experiences, challenges, inspiration etc. and highlights the many opportunities this profession has to offer.”

Dale Barzey

Dale retired from full time work in 2016. In the fall of 2020, she created a YouTube channel called nursestalking where she has conversations with nurses anywhere in the world and at any stage in their nursing career from students to retirees.

I love that she is making space for perspectives from intergenerational, international, and all specialties of nursing!

Dale is currently collaborating with more than twenty nurses in the USA and several other countries on a book entitled “Letters to a Future Nurse” and may be contacted via: nursestalking@gmail.com.

To be included in a blog post written by the very insightful Beth Boynton is both uplifting and humbling. Beth, thank you so very much for capturing my vision for nursestalking and for highlighting some of these very special nurses in your blog. Blessings…Dale.
