Did you know that September is World Alzheimer’s Month? The East Side Institute (ESI) is Taking It To The Streets! Learn more about the campaign and join in.
I’m excited to share and participate in this revolutionary work that promises to bring more light and joy to folks with dementia, their loved ones, and the caregiving community.
What’s the campaign?
“Taking It to the Streets” is a campaign of Reimagining Dementia: A Creative Coalition for Justice.
The week long campaign begins on September 18, 2023 and you can learn more here!
“We’re taking it to the streets playfully and creatively because, as the work of our members and so many others powerfully demonstrates, play, performance, the arts, music and more is how we restore humanity to people impacted by dementia and ensure that diagnosis is a starting point for joy, connection, growth and new possibilities.” – Mary Fridley ESI Faculty &. Co-founder of the coalition with the late Dr. Susan Massad, MD.
