Full disclosure

A meditation practice does not grow an extra pair of hands or, by itself, represent the solution to symptoms of burnout which many healthcare professionals are experiencing.

However

A meditation practice does seem to provide a solid foundation from which much needed navigation of stress can arise. And not only that, but the ability to self-regulate could also be therapeutic for our patients and contribute to cultures of calm.

Check out this latest video with certified mindfulness instructor, professor of communication, and founder of Korabek Training, Liz Korabek-Emerson.

Being able to self-regulate is an added sense of care for other people.
